After nearly 100 years...the tradition continues!

Use the recipes below to make two varieties of our bran muffin mix

 

Molasses Bran Muffins

Washington Self Rising Flour   

Baking Soda                            

Sugar   

Cinnamon

Wheat Bran      

 

 

1 cup

tsp.

1½ tbsp.

tsp.

¼ cup

Molasses

Egg                                              

Oil                                               

Milk                                             

1/3 cup

1

2 tbsp.

¼ cup

Preheat oven to 400F. Blend all dry ingredients together with wire whip or spatula. Add molasses, oil, egg and milk and blend with wire whip or spatula just until batter is uniform. Fill greased muffin cups ¾ full and bake for 13-15 minutes.  If desired, stir ½ cup of raisins into batter.

Brown Sugar Bran Muffins

Egg                                              

Oil                                               

Milk

Fill greased muffin cups ¾ full and bake for 13-16 minutes.  If desired, stir ½ cup of raisins, ¼ cup of chopped nuts, or 1 small mashed banana into batter.
