After nearly 100 years...the tradition continues!

Use the recipe below to make our gingerbread mix that will taste just like the box mix!

 

Washington Retail Gingerbread Mix

Washington Self Rising Flour  

Baking Soda

Sugar

Cinnamon

Ground Ginger

Allspice                    

                         

 

1 cup

⅛ tsp.

¼ cup

⅛ tsp.

¾ tsp.

½ tsp.

 

Molasses

Egg

Oil

Water

½ cup

1 ½ tbsp.

½ cup

Preheat oven to 375F. Blend all dry ingredients together in a mixing bowl with a spatula or wire whip. Add the molasses, egg, oil, and water to the dry ingredients and blend on low speed for 30 seconds. Scrape bowl, and blend for 2 minutes on medium. Pour the batter into a greased 8x8 pan. Bake at 375F for 20-25 minutes. For a 9x5 loaf pan, bake for 30-35 minutes. If a glass pan is used, bake at 350F.
