Commercial Flour & Corn Meal Milling

WRM has the knowledge, experience and infrastructure to serve the needs of commercial bakeries of all sizes. Our mills produce a wide variety of flours, including all-purpose and self-rising grades. In addition, we mill our own whole wheat flours, and we produce both white and yellow Indian Head corn meals. We regularly adjust our flour mills to produce flours with the proper ash, protein or granulation specifications of specific bakeries, while maintaining the highest food safety standards. Each of our three locations has a quality assurance lab that tests incoming wheat and finished flour, and our Food Safety department ensures compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements.

Our multiple mills deliver unique capabilities that provide our customers with a broader array of options, as well as the assurance of supply chain backup and redundancy. Each mill is also equipped with labs and experienced Kansas State-trained personnel to accommodate our customers’ research and development requests.

Packaging & Delivering to the East Coast

With our three mill locations across Maryland and Pennsylvania, we are able to facilitate convenient delivery of our products -- with short lead times -- to the entire East Coast corridor. In addition to delivering in bulk, we also package our products in 25-pound, 50-pound or 100-pound bags. All of our products undergo quality testing prior to their shipment. With our significant network of sophisticated third-party logistics companies, we are able to get your product where you need it to be in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

Corn Meal & Self-Rising, Soft Wheat & Whole Wheat Flours

WRM has years of experience working with complex, international food companies – as well as smaller distributors and commercial accounts – and the technical milling expertise to consistently meet our customers’ expectations. We offer particular expertise in the milling of cake, pastry, pie and pretzel flours. We're able to match customers with the proper grade of flour for their baking applications, and we can adjust specifications to create a flour to meet our customers’ exact requirements.

White Lily Pastry Flour

Designed to produce high-quality pie crusts, cookies and muffins, White Lily Pastry Flour is also excellent for thickening gravies and soups. Available in 50-pound and 100-pound bags.

Velvetx Cake Flour

Velvetx is the finest quality cake flour available, specifically designed to produce premium high-sugar and high-fat cakes and muffins. Available in 50-pound and 100-pound bags.

Martha Washington Cake Flour

A cake flour used to produce high quality cakes and muffins whose formulas require a little more strength than a high-ration cake flour provides. This product is also excellent for thickening gravies and soups. Available in 50-pound and 100-pound bags.

Washington Hotel and Restaurant Flour

Offering a perfect blend of hard and soft wheat flour, excellent for all types of baking, including making biscuits, muffins, cakes and pie crusts. Available in 25-pound and 50-pound bags.

Washington Self-Rising Flour

This premium flour is blended with baking powder and salt, and is used by the finest bakeries for cakes, biscuits, cookies and pie crusts. Available in 25-pound bags.
